Recently I started writing my gratitude journal again. I found an app for my iphone.
Love it!
It is very grounding and so important to be grateful on a daily basis.
I am grateful for all of you. What are you grateful for?
All you have to do is write a comment on this blog post about what you are most grateful for and you could win this 4″x6″ OOAK fine art reproduction (Unseen Beauty) at the end of the month.

I am grateful for the abundance of JOY I feel in my life – family, work, pets. I became acutely aware of my feeling of JOY about 4 years ago after a life changing experience. Of course it isn’t always there but I know it is always waiting just around the corner for me and I treasure it. Corny but true.

I am grateful for so many things! I try not to take anything for granted. But as this is an art-related post, I’d like to say that I’m so grateful to have the inspiration and ability to express myself creatively. Art is such a huge part of my life and it seems to help me through everything. To have the tools and love to draw, paint- whatever, is such an amazing gift. And I’m grateful that you have it too so that I always have your beautiful art to look at! =P
    Merry Christmas Maria!

I am so grateful for my health and that of my family. Without it I couldnt enjoy my art or life for that matter and the hugely emotional creative part of my being would not be fullfilled. I love the snowflakes falling…I am in Western Australia and it is nearly 100 degrees today!
I am also grateful for true friendships becuase they are rare! Cheers!

“Just living is not enough, said the butterfly. One must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower”. Hans Christian Anderson. This is one of my favorite sayings but its only from all those pessky bugs and things that we learn life’s lessons and find freedom, I am grateful for that : )

I’m grateful for creativity. My life would lack something if there weren’t wonderful artists, authors and muscians out there in this world. I am grateful for the contributions that people make to the creative spirit.

I am grateful for many things but today as I write this I am grateful for my good health and for the good health of my family and friends. I didn’t used to think about my health too much and simply took it for granted–but like most things in life we learn from experience to appreciate what we have (and sometimes what we don’t have).

Thank you for the lovely post,
    Charissa

I am grateful for the ones I love: my family and friends. I am grateful for life and the opportunities and surprises that await around every corner. I am grateful for my dreams and for all of the dreamers in the world that allow innocent imagination to flourish and creativity to pursue. I am grateful for happiness and laughter and for real smiles. I am grateful for art and for self expression. I am grateful for the unique gifts and talents that each of us bring to this world. But most of all, I am grateful for love and hope, for without these two simple things, nothing else in the world would matter.

(I am also grateful for your artwork, which never fails to bring a smile to my face!)

  45. I am grateful for my children, grandchildren and my supportive husband who pushes me to create my art – he is my best fan. I am grateful for the true friends I have found who where helpful and loving when life was so hard. I am grateful for life. There is so much to be grateful for that I could not write it down on this little note and there is not enough English words to use to express how grateful I am. I would need to use French which is the language of my youth to express myself more…..MERCI pour tout. 🙂
I am also grateful to have discovered your site – your art brings me smiles and a lot of pleasure. Thank you Maria!

I am grateful for many things but at the moment:
I am grateful that after almost 10 years of marriage, my husband has finally picked up on my hints on what I would like for Christmas this year.
And this may sound corny but I am grateful for vision and the ability to see in color. I am in love with the colors you use in your paintings as well as the mixture of media used to create your works of art!

And I am grateful to have worked for a good company who still has it’s pension funds intact (I am retired) which allows me to do lots of happy things! Hope the New Year brings everyone happiness…..
