Mixed Media Artist

Summer Garden

Dreaming of summer gardens and lots of colour … I’ve had enough of all this white stuff ( and I mean the SNOW when I say that, not my black and white paintings).  I know it is only February and I have a way to go but I am going to Victoria next week so I get to see some green and flowers like these ones my Dad sent me. (I’m never sure if he is sending photos of  inspiration or he is just trying to be cruel, ha, ha!)

Aren’t they wonderful!

Something that I do through my Instagram account and my Facebook page is show my work in progress. I thought I might start to  share these WIP photos to my blog posts as well. I hope you find them interesting.

Have a bright and colourful day!

Summer-GardenThis mixed media/ encaustic painting is 24″x24″ and has 1.5″ deep sides that are mint green.

Im so glad you shared this here. Ive always been curious about your process. I kept trying to figure out all the layers. Is it part paper, or paint, perhaps some pen or ink, then maybe Paper napkins???Thanks for showing a bit of the mystery!
