Hi Maria, I know that 2015 was a very difficult year for you and that you must be relieved to have put it behind you. I hope and I pray that 2016 brings you continued recovery, excellent health, and abundant blessings for your entire family. I have struggled with serious health issues for 25 years and like you, my 2015 was the most difficult year to date. Every time I went to the doctors’ offices, they discovered or uncovered a new problem, another challenge for me to face in a continuing downward spiral. I’m a fighter, but after all of these years, after all the the blows, old and new, I found myself leaning toward living in a dark place for the first time. At that point, I was very fortunate because I found you. I found your exquisite women and your over the moon charming, whimsical little girls. I could immerse myself in the rich, swirling colors, the graceful, tactile textures, and the exotic florals. It was easy to lose myself in the beauty of your creations. I am a painter, and a rather poor one since I have limited mobility in both hands, but your work created a profound desire in me to create. I’m still trying to find the best medium for my physical challenges, but you brought color back into my very gray world. Maria, I am writing to thank you for that. Despite your own struggles and pain, you were able to continue to create such beautiful pieces, full of color and joy. Your work is so beautiful that I haven’t enough of the right words to express it. Eventually I know that I will see one of your paintings that my heart can’t live without and I’ll buy it for my home. I think it will be one of your impossibly beautiful little red-haired girls in a garden, a piece of an old iron fence, and maybe a bird. I’ll know it when I see it! Anyway, thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating a world I could so easily slip into until my world was more bearable. Happy New Year! With a grateful, happy heart, Martha Bryce

    • Thanks so much Martha. This is a wonderful comment. It moved me so much. I really appreciate your ongoing support of my work and I am so honoured that I could help you. It is over whelming to me that my art can do that. I am so blessed and I am so grateful that my my divine gift creates something positive for others as well as myself. There were years where I didn’t use my gift, sometimes I think that I am making up for lost time! Thanks you, again, from the bottom of my heart. I wish you all the best and hope that 2016 is a much better year, for both of us. XOX Maria
