Count Your Blessings

This painting was one of my first of 2016. The starting of a new year is always a time for me to take stock and be grateful for my life, past and present. The beginning of this year  was scary for me, I had an operation that I did not look forward to coming up in the beginning of 2016 but instead of focusing on this I decided to be grateful for all of the greatness in my life.  I often look at the new year as a chance to start a new, to TRANSFORM the parts of my life I am not happy with but this year I really did just count my blessings and was truly grateful for my life just as it was. Sometimes what can seem very scary or negative can change our perspective on what is truly important in our life.

Here’s to transforming gracefully from one year to the next.

I am truly  looking forward to 2017.

dear maria, i am using the lovely notebook you sent me as my new gratitude journal…i started my first two years ago at the beginning of the year and i love the different perspective it promotes by focusing attention on what there is to be grateful for each and every day…thank you, susan

  3. I agree, I have used a gratitude journal many times in my life and I love the way it puts things in a new light. Glad you are enjoying your journal. ❤
