“Today is a new day”

Chicken Little

I had fun painting these chickens. I haven’t painted chickens before but have often been inspired by the amazing variety  of their textures and  colours not to mention the a wonderful pantaloons they are often seen wearing.  I enjoyed the process but I’m not sure if I feel a series in this theme but maybe.  I’d still love to do a black and white one and the idea of chickens in the snow intrigues me as well.

There is nothing more magical than a hot cup of tea. It truly is healing in many ways. I love when we watch British TV shows and their answer for everything is a “cuppa”. It is definitely  a very powerful elixir and my part of my morning ritual. It wakes me, soothes me and sets me on my way … to a cup of coffee … LOL  (sad but true).
