Finding Balance / March Auction

This painting will be available this March 12-14  for my online solo auction with Stephanie Gagos. I have been painting up a storm. It hasn’t been an easy one to get ready for. It was the coldest February in 40 years here in Edmonton and my studio is only good to -20! It has been a struggle.  I need to work to  get inspired,  so I had to move some stuff into my dining room just to get my creative juices flowing. I hate painting where you don’t feel free to make a mess but it did the trick, I struggled the first day but by the second day all sorts if ideas were popping into my head and onto the canvas. Another thing that I always try to remember is to not try to re-invent the wheel. It is ok re-visit it ideas that you have worked on before. Sometimes this can take you down another path that you missed the last time. Anyway, this is  me re-visiting my stacked tea cup painting “Fortune Hunter” ( a 12″x12″ mounted reproduction of this one will be also be in the auction). Hope you like it, if you would like more info on this auction follow this link: https://www.facebook.com/events/393670084793587/
