The Passing Time

5.5″ x11″ mixed media on paper. This painting is on rag paper and would need to be matted and framed by you.

This painting is available HERE

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret: it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.

Growing Up

10″x10″ mixed media painting on paper covered canvas. The sides are 3″ deep and are a continuum of the painting.

This painting is available HERE

After Imogen’s  first day of rehearsals last week for A Midsummer Night’s Dream,  I looked down the hall to welcome her home and ask her  how her day was when I stopped short.

She literally looked older, maybe  wiser, than when she left in the morning…

growing up right in front of my eyes.

At the age of six I wanted to be a cook. At seven I wanted to be Napoleon. And my ambition has been growing steadily ever since.
Salvador Dali

A new painting,  ‘Balanced’, 18″x24″, mixed media on wood stretcher.

I found this amazing photo on http://clancysclassics.blogspot.com/, actually in her etsy shop.  Check out her beautiful work.  She graciously let me use this image for a print of the final painting.  Thanks Marianne!

Summer Grin

This is a new ACEO I did today.  Even in this heat I managed to get a little bit  of work done.

I love this cheeky grin.  This summer, I feel like I have watched baby Scarlett turn into little girl Scarlett.
